In my Father's House - October 6, 2007

Some of you have been asking about this program that I played in Florida to benefit Habitat for Humanity. I will be playing this solo program for the remainder of 2007. If any of you would like to host a Habitat benefit concert, just let me know. There are a few dates free in my schedule and I would love to play it again for this exceptionally worthy cause.

Synergy Concerts - July 16, 2006

In spring of 2007 I will be playing a series of concerts with the Synergy Duo. Colin and Cathy are really great players and we will have opportunity to do some fresh combinations of repertoire for flute, guitar and piano. You can hear an appetizer on my music page that now includes a duet, "Always and Forever," featuring Colin and I. We were recorded live in Crill Performance Hall at PLNU last November. This is one of my all time favorite melodies.

A Rewarding Week - July 14, 2006

What a great week of playing, teaching and learning! In a few days I will have some pictures on the gallery page. It was so much fun to see the kids working hard and soaking up so much good music. This year it was a special pleasure to have two of our recent graduates return to teach at the institute as faculty members. Thanks again to all the students, parents and teachers who make the institute possible. I am already looking forward to next year.

Point Loma Keyboard Institute - July 3, 2006

The Point Loma Keyboard Institute starts on July 10. I will be playing my Bach in America recital, teaching a piano literature seminar on Mozart and sharing master class duties with my friends Jane Bastien and Victor Labenske this year. By my count this is our 11th summer to offer this program for middle school and high school aged pianists.
